another week

Another week gone, and at the risk of sounding like a broken record, it was certainly another busy one. But that seems to be the way of things around here lately. Between school "fun" days to bake for, an out of town cross country carnival, coffee catch ups and the usual grocery shopping, it has continued to be extra busy all week. As much as I am the sort that doesn't like rushing around too much, at least it is a good type of busy, which at the end of the day is the main thing. As I contemplate on the weekend ahead (yes, another busy one!), I'm hoping that you yourselves will have a pleasant weekend also.

And here's hoping that next week will be just a little bit quieter.

  1. Loving all your photos. Especially the piles of woollens! Things have been busy here too, I thought things were meant to be slowing down here but it is quite the opposite. Have a great weekend Tania xo

  4. I was planning a quiet week but a couple of extra days work put a stop to that. Hopefully this weekend I can squeeze in a bit of sewing and a nice little picnic.
Sweet images of your busy week.

PS Do you get South East ABC Radio where you live? A local blogging friend of mine was on a week or so ago (you can download the audio or podcast from the ABC website) and she mentioned both my blog and yours (as well as her own and some others she liked). she asked me beforehand who I suggested as a goodie to mention and of course your lovely blog came to mind. Just thought I'd let you know and, oh dear, so hope you don't mind being mentioned on the radio???

  15. Hi there,
i've only just discovered your blog and am busily stalking your stunning pages in trying to work out where you live! I thought in-land NSW but then I noticed a recipe with ounces and thought this might be another USA blog.
Your blog makes me dream of a beautiful life. The knitting... the cooking... the happy children in their own wonderful world... bliss! Unfortunately I live where it's HOT even in winter (remote WA) but am slowly learning to crochet warm woollen socks for when we travel to Sydney and Newcastle soon. Lovely blog, keep up the excellent work!
