I don't knit (yet) but I've read your blog enough to know we enjoy the same type of life...home and family and all the loveliness that goes along with it!Shandahttp://purpleamethyst76.xanga.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1948397622243147877.post-45351719073567561192012-07-12T19:01:27.406+10:002012-07-12T19:01:27.406+10:00Hi Tanya, I used to love the school holidays when ...Hi Tanya, I used to love the school holidays when my children were younger, so relaxing not having to rush about in the morning. Your new knitting project loks lovely. I will be interested to see how it turns out, such a pretty colour.
The garden of your great grandfather remind me of my father garden on the farm. great memorieskathyroshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10691429125499777842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1948397622243147877.post-45667642236822245262012-07-12T17:44:45.169+10:002012-07-12T17:44:45.169+10:00I see other Mums walking their children to school ...I see other Mums walking their children to school while I am still in my pyjamas with my two little ones and I wonder at how much things will change once Cohen starts school. Right now there is no concrete schedule except what we make. Only playgroup and appointments have set times. Everything else is up to us and flexible for nap times. I know I will miss that once he starts school. xxChristina Lowryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18370046598325657449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1948397622243147877.post-27701154672651649522012-07-12T16:45:45.220+10:002012-07-12T16:45:45.220+10:00Yes for ALL of those same reasons I love school ho...Yes for ALL of those same reasons I love school holidays and having the kids with me, knowing how they are traveling is all part of relaxing and letting the anxiety go. Fir this very same reason I am loving to have Thom home with me and homeschooling. The sheer relief and letting go of the anxiety of having him at school has enriched his and my life 10 fold. It is hard at times just as school holidays are but you work your way through it and the bad days are now far fewer than the good days. Being at peace and without stress from outside pressure that you can't control has made the biggest impact on our lives. That said we still have another in school :)Jacaranda https://www.blogger.com/profile/12268308647436628895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1948397622243147877.post-16575942591710471712012-07-11T22:14:43.657+10:002012-07-11T22:14:43.657+10:00You have summed it up so beautifully! Love that reading pile.
As I type we have only just cleaned up breakfast, one's climbing a tree, one's tackling an imaginary footy team, another is singing in her room getting dressed for a day of outdoor play. Ahhhh, and me, I am about to make a second cup of plunger coffee to get over the midnight lights off from last night, like every night this week.
