On My Mind

Today is Friday. Not much has been done today in the usual way of chores. (Daniel was home this morning). It's raining too...so no washing to be done.
I am deeply engrossed in the book I received yesterday. I think it has come at the right time. I feel heavily under the load of clutter right now. It makes me feel like I can never get to the bottom of cleaning. A cluttered home makes for a cluttered mind. Such is the dilemma of the avid op-shopper with a small house. Even though we have little clutter in comparison to other homes I have visited, I still think there is a better way. I will update some time next week on my plan of action...

  1. Good Luck - we are hoping to down-size into a LOT smaller home hopefully in the near future.

  2. I love to get rid of clutter. It's amazing how clutter seems to always grow to fit the space you have. De-cluttering is a goal of mine. I figure it will be a good life-long habit to get into. :) Best of luck! It's such a good way to simplify your life.

  9. Thank you all for the encouraging comments. I got a lot out of the book Rhonda. It makes the mass clean seem more achievable and made me view my things in a different light - not being ruled by my "stuff".
