Well, it's not finished yet, but it's relatively tidy and functional at this point in time. Last week you could not see the table for all the

My cottons shelf still needs to be filled and hung. A corkboard needs to be cut for the frame and hung. But we're slowly getting there.

A bowl for cut threads is a good idea. Mine just gather in little piles that look like inept birds' nests at the end of a session.
ReplyDeleteOhhh I love all of your bits and pieces Tania! The table itself is lovely!
ReplyDeletelooking gorgeous Tania, a very inspiring space indeed. I find I have to tidy mine almost daily, it's amazing how the projects pile up.
ReplyDeleteSo jealous! My sewing space is the kitchen table and I can never keep anything out (well I could if we didn't want to eat). I am sure your space will keep you inspired! Cyndy
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous table and set up you have there... very nicely put together. Enjoy your new workspace.
ReplyDeleteI love it, it's so gorgeous! You've chosen fantastic colours.
ReplyDeleteMy best friend growing up used to have a table just like that in their farmhouse kitchen. 8 people would squeeze around three sides of it (one end was against the wood stove bricks) and eat cheese with a fresh crusty loaf of bread. I always thought it was the biggest table ever, and when I saw it as an adult was quite surprised at its regular size!
What a fun and creative space you have. Love what is done so far! Hugs, Bobbi Jo
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty! I love all the vintage colors :)
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely...but if its anything like my space it wont last(tidy that is) hee hee.
ReplyDeleteI love what you have done. I have been in my sewing nook with little miss 12 months, looks like a bomb went off. My material is everywhere, I think I need a good sort out also. Its good to see other peoples crafty areas.
ReplyDeleteHow much fun to set up your creative space... looking good! I love all the colours too! How exciting :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I'm so jealous. I would do pretty much anything for my own crafty space. x
ReplyDeleteYou've got a lovely space Tania to create. I love seeing all your vintage treasures you've collected all lined in a row. Enjoy your new space. xx
ReplyDeleteLOVE this space. Can I just pop down with my machine and take a seat? My space is a completely cluttered spare room that I am desperately trying to clear so I can finally set up the sewing machine. Love the little blue shelves for cotton, that was my plan for the shadowbox before the kids turned it into a dollhouse. I did find a wonderful sewing basket today, has spurred me on to emptying that spare room.
ReplyDeletevery cute! love all the vintage touches.
ReplyDeleteinspirational space, thanks for sharing!
