wintery
We had been running a little late for school. I had chosen to walk this morning, and despite the rushed chaos, and feeling stressed, managed to pop my camera in my bag. A brisk walk and a late bell meant we arrived in time (this time). As I slowly made my way home, unhurried, I snapped a few pictures. Taking photos can force you to really slow down and notice what you didn't notice before. To notice the shades in the overcast sky, the buds just about to blossom and the little pops of colour in the frosty, wintery surrounds.
And I felt better.

ReplyDeleteglad to see the new camera is getting a workout - these are gorgeous shots!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Do you know what sort of birdnest that is.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about slowing down to notice the details. I love that about blogging but your pictures are massively ahead of mine- I can practically taste the snow in the air looking at your photos.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and you're so right about having to slow down and really look when you have the camera in hand. I like to take mine when I can - too big to pop into my pocket though - but have a really annoying habit of leaving it at home when going to important events. I think it's because I'm always in such a mad state trying to get the kids and hubby ready that it slips my mind.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics Tania..you are really enjoying your new piece of equipment aren't you?
ReplyDeleteFeel like I was there strolling with you, beautiful shots of spring approaching, love the nest!
