sunshine

It's been unseasonably warm in these parts the past few days. It's been nice to get outdoors and not feel chilled to the bone. To soak in a little sunshine. We've been noticing new life in the garden. The rhubarb is growing again. There are new tiny leaves on some of the fruit trees. The washing is drying within the day. Colds are slowly getting better.

Funnily enough we had a forecast for snow showers today. Of course if it did snow there would be quite the excitement around here (it did here and here). The school would close and we could enjoy the white transformation of our village. Fingers crossed. I'd better keep my camera battery charged. Just in case.

sounds (and looks) beautiful, we're stuck in a hot, dry summer here in Ontario, Canada. We love that cough syrup!

There were snow forecasts here too but none to report of as yet.
It's lovely seeing the new little signs of Spring approaching. I love this time of year.

We're having a sunny but freezing day here. Love the pic of Violet in the garden. My crawler loves exploring in the garden on the few days warm enough lately.

Tania I just love your clothes line, there is nothing like line dried nappies, we have a sunny windy day here in Qld.

Beautiful pics.
I wished it snowed here in Sydney...that would be ridiculously exciting.

Spring is edging forward isn't she.

Your line of terries and snap nappies looks almost identical to mine today except we look like getting a shower soon!
Love the pics of Violet in the garden with her little red cardi....i'd love to see some snow photos, never going to see that up our way!
Hope the colds are departing for you all x

Love that picture of the washing catching the wind! Glad you've been seeing and feeling a bit of sunshine. It can do the world of good at this time of year can't it.

Thanks for the photo of your washing - it reminded me that I have washing to hang out lol.
Lovely to see Violey enjoying the sunshine. Did it snow overnight there? Certainly feels like it here in Sydney. My girls dream of a day off school for snow, every winter I have to remind them that is just wont happen in Sydney!

These pictures are beautiful.
I love using my clothesline....I have it at the end of our porch and use it every day. Isn't it like art? When I'm done, I stand back and admire. :)
