Rather looking forward to a weekend with no plan.
Homebody that I am there are thoughts of family time, a little baking, some reading, finishing off that knitting project and perhaps a little garden planning.
Ah, the possibilities of a weekend with no plan.
I wish I had such a weekend to look forward to :)

I'm so with you and plan to do the same! This weekend is bank holiday here in the UK, so I'll be enjoying the 3 day weekend at home with the fella and hopefully having chance to indulge in some good food, getting my craft on and maybe a few vodka and cokes :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely, relaxing time!

It's Memorial Day weekend here in the US so a lot of people will have Monday off from work and there will be parades and picnics. IN fact My Mom has invited us to their place for a cookout but I'm afraid that it would be a tight squeeze time wise for us since I have to work 5 AM to 10 AM on Monday and it's a 2 hour drive to Moms and Back and I have to be to work at 5:30 on Tuesday. So what we will probably do is stay home and rest. Perhaps we will go up there on a weekend soon. Enjoy your "Unplanned" weekend
ReplyDeleteThat cake looks divine - is it quince? Sounds like a perfect way to spend the weekend.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteI have finally fixed the blogger fault that has stopped me from commenting on your blog since Tuesday (yay). Love your photos, and your house- there are so many perfectly photogenic corners, and children for that matter, in your home. I have been sorting through Liongirls' old clothes and found a favourite thrifted cardigan in the most wonderful shade of peach that looks gorgeous on a dark haired girl and I immediately thought of your bub. I would love to post it to you, if you need another cardi please email me your address and I'll pop it in the post. I am at d_shrier@hotmail.com. melx
ReplyDeleteI have been having trouble with blogger too, but I am glad to be back and to be able to comment.
ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounds like a good plan to me! Enjoy it with your lovely family...
Now I am going to finish reading the posts I have missed.
