let it snow

Last night we had a little hail, then wind and rain. Then silence. And then we woke up to this..

We had no snow last year so this was a welcome surprise.  And now off to Luca's soccer game which will certainly be interesting if this snow has not melted.

Enjoy the start of your weekend.

  3. Oh that makes me feel a bit cooler. It's currently 84*F here with a thunderstorm moving into the area. We are expecting rain pretty much all weekend so I guess I will be inside - cleaning, ripping up carpet (trying to rid the entire house of carpet), laundry and perhaps a bit of sewing. I hope the soccer game went well even with the chilly snow.

  4. Oh Tania, what a lovely sight to wake up to this morning.

    I have in never in my 48 years seen or touched snow, but I hope to one day.

    Outside my window this morning is beautiful sunshine, a bit of rain would be nice as its been a while...

    Stay warm,

    xTania

  6. Oooh you lucky ducks! The closest we get to snow up here in Briz is golf ball sized hail every now and again. I hope it lasts so the kids can have some fun with it before it turns into a muddy quagmire- which I imagine the kids enjoy just as much. Mel:)

  7. Wow!!!! Look at that snow, in contrast, my kids spent yesterday at the neighbours house on the slip and slide and eating ice-blocks in the sun.

  9. Your photos are lovely. Snow certainly has magical qualities to the beholder. It boggles my mind to imagine a year without snow. I've just emerged from months of snow. : ) Oh, the world is wonderful.
