On Sunday morning at 10:30 we were still covered in a blanket of frost. This was nothing compared to the whiteness everywhere when we woke up.
But it was warm and cozy indoors
Thyme from the garden and motorbike rides
Clearing out the vegie garden, which was in a sad and sorry state.
Luca taking a tumble
Just a quiet one for us. Some time spent with family. A meal out. Things done at home.
How was your weekend?
Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteOur weekend was much the same. The frost looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Brrrrrr, but gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteQuite quiet and uneventful. I've got the laundry finishing up right now and am debating on trying to stay awake til morning so that I can sleep during the day tomorrow since I will be working 3 over nights in a row starting tomorrow night. I used to bounce back better from these changes in schedule - not so much anymore so by Thursday I will be dragging I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! I always enjoy your lovely blog, but I really love the pictures of frost. It has been 100 degrees in South Carolina the last couple of weeks!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a nice quiet family weekend. We hosted the Slow Foods group on a tour of our farm.@0 or so people turned up to see how we go about producing food for a CSA.
ReplyDeletesounds like a lovely slow weekend - i really need one of those!
ReplyDeleteThanks for signing up to the sheet swap :) I have been following along with your blog for a while now so it is nice to officially 'meet' you! hubby and i also live on an acre... which just the right amount to have a lot of weekend garden work and a good sized vegie garden!
have a great week - Kel
It does look cold. Glad to hear it's nice and warm indoors. I do love winter because I can hibernate :)
ReplyDeleteI love your lines of washing. My goodness now, that's quite a few loads.
