  7. Thanks, that craft consumerism article is interesting, and something I've been feeling a bit lately too. After your post about your former shopping habit, I got to thinking about how I get a sort of shopping buzz from buying new fabric. I really need to work through some stash. And, I had a bit of an Etsy habit for a while. Without becoming too wrapped up in worry about it, I feel it's certainly worth discussion and promoting more conscious, purposeful purchasing decisions (or decisions not to purchase).

  8. That article was super interesting and thought provoking. Matt and I have a home-based tie-dye business and I confess that it gives me qualms sometimes. For example, it is the most water intensive thing I do which kills me since it is a fulff item and not a needful items.... And the consumerism that is found at craft shows can be baffling.... I think I have a lot of thinking to do.
