There has been a cool shift in the weather this week. Winter woolies are on. Leaves are scarlet and yellow, still clinging on but succumbing to that cold wind. The wood pile is heaped high, ready for splitting. Our first fire was lit the other night. I'm relishing the chill in the air and looking forward to all this season brings.
Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeletesounds (and looks) perfect! I love autumn. Our Queensland days are still quite warm, but the evenings and mornings are calling for flannelette pjs and socks!!
ReplyDeleteLOL... and I'm planning summer sun dresses and shorts.

Love seeing your seasonal pics as it is not so visually impressive up here in Bris. We had a cold snap last night ( must have been at least under 20 degrees) and the kids have pulled out the all in one fleece pj's!( yes I know us queenslanders are all soft about cold weather)melx

I get a thrill when the weather turns cool as I see it as the beginning of the cooler months where I love to hibernate to cook, do craft and read.
Adelaide's temperature has dropped quite a bit the last few days, but we still have a beautiful blue sky today. :)
